EASY Banana Bread

I found this in an issue of Real Simple Magazine and modified it a bit. It is really good! Very moist and delicious.

Banana Bread

1 box cake mix (yellow, banana and pineapple work best and chocolate fudge is AWESOME!)
1 pkg. Jell-O instant pudding mix (I like to use vanilla or banana)
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil
2 ripe bananas, mashed
4 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Mix all ingredients well. Pout into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes.

Wouldn't it be healthier to make this with low fat sour cream or yogurt, whole wheat or half whole wheat flour and omit the cake mix and pudding mix with all of the chemicals in it?

It wouldn't take anymore time but would be so much more delicious.

I agree, your suggestions would make it much healthier. I do have a recipe similar to what you suggest and will post it soon. I actually modified this from a recipe I found in a magazine and wanted to share it because it is so simple. If you have health concerns, I would certainly not suggest you use this recipe.
