Biscuit Fun
I made biscuits to go with beef stew for dinner tonight. Since I mixed up a double batch there was dough left so I let my girls have some fun with it. These are the "Biscuit People" they made. Too cute :)

Michele, those are adorable! I bet they were tasty, too.
How cute. My girls love to play with dough and mix, sprinkle, stir or anything related to cooking. About 3 years ago, my oldest had a play cooking set and she was determined to use it to make "real" food. I gave her flour, sugar, milk, water and her little set of measuring cups and spoons and bowls. She had so much fun. She made "cookies" and cut them out with cookie cutters and we did bake them. They weren't very tasty, needless to say. But, they were the best cookies ever for obvious reasons. She loved the freedom of measuring her flour or sugar and mixing when she wanted to. And she insisted on cleaning up her own mess...gotta love that! Your girls biscuit people are just adorable. Tammy
Thanks Patty, they girls said they were delicious.
Tammy, thanks :) That is so sweet about your daughter's cookies, I bet they were THE BEST cookies ever! I'm sure she will always remember making them too :)
LOL! Hey, you're talking to a girl with a Southern heritage from the USA here... :) I know in England and Australia they are scones, but to us they'll always be biscuits. ;)
