I would suggest a small rib and the minimal cooking time if you want them to hold up really well and not fall off the bone.Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01257608688023328710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13998709.post-56417725991388505922008-01-28T19:56:00.000-07:002008-01-28T19:56:00.000-07:00Michele,Very funny to see this because I have been...Michele,

Very funny to see this because I have been thinking about making Ribs in my crockpot this weekend for the superbowl. I was somewhat concerned that the ribs would be too moist and would come apart too quickly. I was also wondering whether u used baby back or St. Louis cut ribs and if you thought one would be preferable to the other.Jaredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00161274327525894766noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13998709.post-1145798021498262592006-04-23T06:13:00.000-07:002006-04-23T06:13:00.000-07:00Thanks Michele. I had an old one of my mom's where the liner was attached and I dreaded cleaning the thing. I think most of the major brand name ones these days are removable, but just something to check before you buy. . .Jenn @ Frugal Upstatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11737088723989230434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13998709.post-1145728513874003522006-04-22T10:55:00.000-07:002006-04-22T10:55:00.000-07:00Robert, LOL! Short Ribs are ribs cut the opposite way so that there are "slices" of bone in each piece. They are good but if you are looking for restaurant style those are not what you want. When you make ribs in the crock pot they will be very tender and falling apart when you take them out, they just melt in your mouth!Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01257608688023328710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13998709.post-1145616898579548902006-04-21T03:54:00.000-07:002006-04-21T03:54:00.000-07:00I love ribs when we go out but never make them at ...I love ribs when we go out but never make them at home. What cut of rib did you use. I've seen things labeled "Ribs" "Country Ribs" "Short Ribs" etc and I have no idea what the difference is. . .Jenn @ Frugal Upstatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11737088723989230434noreply@blogger.com
