I think these taco cups would make great appetizers too!Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01257608688023328710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13998709.post-1138822747315212032006-02-01T12:39:00.000-07:002006-02-01T12:39:00.000-07:00My mom used to make a dish she called "Lozza Pie" ...My mom used to make a dish she called "Lozza Pie" or "Lots o' Pie" depending on who she was telling the story to. She wanted to make pizza, but had run out of yeast. Instead, she used her biscuit dough recipe and moulded it into a pie plate. She layered the other ingredients on top. They made a nice thick layer each because of the smaller surface area of the pie dish compared to the pizza pan. If I recall correctly, it baked for about 40 - 45 minutes at 350 F - we just loved it! Definitely fork-and-knife food as opposed to finger food, though.

Seeing your version just gave me such a hit of nostalgia. I'll have to try making these little ones as appetizers next time we're having a get-together.Dawnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06783668751520357959noreply@blogger.com
